Tinctures
Liquid cannabis extract taken by the drop, under the tongue or stirred into a drink, and dosed in milligrams like any ingestible.
Most tinctures are strain-agnostic and chosen by their cannabinoid ratio rather than a strain name, which makes the label simple: the milligrams tell the story. The dropper makes a dose easy to measure and easy to repeat.
In Illinois a tincture is an infused product, so it carries the same caution as an edible (intoxication following use may be delayed two or more hours) and counts toward the same limit: 500mg of THC for residents, 250mg for visitors.
